A Ringer’s Recreation – Part 2
Host: Newcastle Waters
Written by Katrina Rudd.
When the opportunity arises we love to travel to local rodeos and campdrafts to let the first years try their hand at bull and bronc riding, as well as see how good they can work with their station steed in the arena. It’s also a great chance to catch up with friends and make new ones!

Some of the boys tried their hand at saddle bronc as well as the bullock ride at Daly Waters rodeo. For some of them it was their first time, and for others like Wilko it was a much anticipated chance to try his luck since attending rodeo schools before coming up to the station.

At the end of first round we had another chance to catch up and enjoy a night off with a going away party for some of our staff. This was a great night for everyone to get a bit glammed up and have a good time knowing that first round was done and dusted!
It looks like a big group of people, but we were still missing about 10-15 people that night!

The girls loving the chance to get out of their work clothes!
